Barry Bonds or Sammy Sosa?

Boy, people don't like him, but Pujols 3rd Bonds 4th?

And if it came down to it, game on the line, you want Taguchi or Sosa hitting 7th?

Signing Jason Schmidt would have done more to boost my optimism about this team than any aging corner outfielder. I still think this team will score enough runs to win plenty of games if the pitching is there.

No. This is the NL. These statues have to play in the field.

Your hindsight may need glasses. :?

It's one game into the season. How can we possibly look at things in hindsight, without knowing what production we ended up getting out of our corner outfielders?

well at least with Bonds you have a shot at home runs, and he can steal the occasional base... but naturally you would have to then rely on the undefensive play of SO Taguchi in the 7-9 innings...

on the other side though we all knew it wouldnt happen, but anyone telling me they wouldnt want a potential 40 home run season from Bonds would be crazy if it meant that you had the power of Bonds, Pujols, Rolen, Duncan, and Edmonds when he is healthy..

course our defense would be atrocious, but for the most part that is already a given...
