I was in the garage, and my KTRS feed was in and out, so I cranked up the xm feed in the car. This one Houston announcer is pretty bad, but maybe they like him.
Anyway, he and his sidekick were thinking of the positives that Lidge could take from the game, and basically ended up at nothing. Until the one said, 'Well, I guess the one positive he could take from today, would be that at least he didn't blow a save'.
I was listening to my XM and I heard the Houston announcer say the same thing. I just laughed because there's nothing positive about what happened to Lidge.
Houston's announcers are the worst. The older sounding dude is horrendous. He just comes off like a total prick every time I listen to them. I usually don't mind so much the different announcers, its interesting as a change of pace on XM to always hear the home announcers.
But that dude just comes across as an arse. Every time.
I still say his defense let him down, though. Granted, he didn't help himself after the error. But Pujols' ball should have ended the inning. Or at least should have given them two outs.

It really is crazy. I remember him being so dominant in the 2004 postseason and then all of 2005 until the Pujols blast in game 5.
Exactly. It was a funny joke at the beginning of last year. It was like hahaha funny funny, but I never really believed it. Now I wonder if it isn't true.
