Keisler gets start on Tuesday

Post by Cronos »

It's Keisler on Tuesday. They've already recalled him from Memphis.

After the whining session he had at the end of Spring Training about getting sent down, now's his chance to make good on his words.

I frankly know nothing about him, but he's 31, has made 17 career starts (and 51 career appearances) at the MLB level, and has had his nipples lit up every time.

I guess he's fine for an emergency start.... but that's about it for him.

His era has fallen every year from 12 to 6 to 4.5.

Does this mean they are already planning on the DL for Carp?

Here are his ZIPS projections.

Code: Select all

Age ERA W L G GS INN H R ER HR BB K
 31 5.25 5 8 33 16 120 134 77 70 16 51 65
Let's hope he can do a little better than that.
