How are they going to makeup the series they lost?
Does anyone else think it is just brain dead idiotic that they schedule a series in early April in Cleveland with a team that only visits that city one time?

Yes, especially when the team they are playing against plays in a freaking dome..
Sometimes the schedule makers are morans...this would be one of those times

Mike & Mike were saying that this morning. I too think it's ludicrous. Save those games for mid-summer. But to MLB's defense, when was the last time it was this cold in April and this was an issue? I can't remember the last time, maybe when I was little back in the early 80's, but not since then (that I remember).
Really though, there aren't many options to keep this from happening. They could get rained out just as easily.
I think the answer is to encourage more inter-divisional play. That would give out of market fans more than once a year to catch their team when it comes to town and they could more easily play some double headers. Making up an entire series with DHers would be rough and perhaps impossible though.

With as early as the season starts, it's just a matter of time. And it's not that it happened, it's that who it happened against has no scheduled trips back to Cleveland. For cold weather cities like that, make sure the early series are against divisional opponents who will be making another trip or two back.

Isn't this the series they're going to make up by playing in Milwaukee?

No, they are moving the current series to Milwaukee to avoid yet a bigger mess. They lost the complete weekend series with the M's.

My guess is they'll make it a little at a time throughout the season. You know, when SEA heads east to play other teams and they have a matching off day with CLE while they're near Ohio.

Neither team gets to have anyone on the All-Star team and they don't get an All-Star break.
