Izzy was really bad because he gave up a single baserunner.

The ugliest thing was Oquendo sending GB on that dinker fly ball in the 12th.

And Izzy with a heartattack a minute in the last inning...
At least Keisler looked good tonight, although Gorzelanny was better. If the Pirates had a bullpen/defense, they would be dangerous this year.
But yeah, Gary Bennett is officially nominated as best player who only plays 50 games a year.

With Keisler starting, and being down 2-0 going into the 9th, this has to be considered an outstanding win for the Cards.
As others have said, not pretty, but anytime you can win a game that Keisler starts, it's as good as having Carpenter on the mound.
