Would rather lose 20-1 then by one run. Blecch. I despise one-run losses.

Different night, same result: the team isn't designed to score runs without Pujols contributing. It's really not any more complicated than that.

Pitching was still good, tough luck for Kip Wells; had one pitch that wasn't even all that bad that Weeks pounded and it stood up. Duncan needed a little bit better plate discipline with the bases loaded.

Not too much else to talk about.

I actually thought the Cardinals hit the ball well tonight. Some bad luck mixed in there.

Pujols and Rolen have to produce. If they don't, the Cards will lose 3-2 a lot.
