That's what time the Red Sox game starts tomorrow morning...
A NINE AM central time start time for a baseball game? Wowser..
Is this cause of the Boston Marathon? I still thought the game always started at 11 et not 10...holy cow thats early..

(chuckle) yeah, Patriots Day here in cheery Massachusetts is an annual affair -- the Sox play at home and have a morning start that coincides with the Boston Marathon every year. This 10am one is the earliest ever though.
Unfortunately tain't gonna happen -- it is pouring rain, with a forecast to keep up. They may get the game in, but no way it's happening in the morning . . . earlier this weekend they were ven looking at contingencies for the Marathon because the forecast is so bad and the storm is so serious -- originally expecting five inches of rain on Monday monring!!!

Yep, it's usually 11.
Gates are scheduled to open at 8am tomorrow!!!
The Patriots Day game is usually one of the most sought-after tickets of the season . . . you can't buy tickets like for other games, it's included in the lottery along with Opening Day and the Sox-Yankees games.

That Nor'easter still going on? I'm thinking the field won't be playable even if it stopped raining already.

Based on the weather reports, it doesn't seem possible that they could get a game in today.
And they said this is the worst weather ever for the marathon.
