Honestly, can The Cobbler be any worse than Eck has been?

No, and he is left handed.

I don't know about Skippy peanut butter hitting leadoff...but something had to be done about Eck, and I guess if Skippy has to be in any major league lineup he'd probably be a lead-off hitter.
Or maybe Eck just really struggles against Sheets or something. Not sure.
It's the first time Eck's not batted leadoff as a Cardinal.

We hit Sheets well. Cardinals win tonight, 5-3.

I can't believe I can see that Looper is the starter and think to myself, "Okay, they've go a good chance tonight!"

At this point, they could trot out the stellar lineup when Yadi was batting cleanup and I'd be ecstatic if we could play inspired ball.

They said on ESPN last night that Tony was considering moving Eck down for a game or two.
And for one or two games, Skippy actually looks like he knows what to do at the plate.
