Trade offer

I've been offered Rolen and Dan Wheeler for Papelbon. I have Atkins at 3rd currently and we all know how poorly he's doing too. At least I'd have Rolen as insurance. Will Wheeler remain the Stros closer throughout the year, do you think?

id think theyd give lidge another shot at closing...unless they out of it and trade him...

I wouldn't give Papelbon up for that.
We don't know if Rolen will be better than waiver wire material the rest of the year at this point. Papelbon is an elite closer.

Don't do it.
Go to the waiver wire and pick up Mark Reynolds to sub at third base while Rolen gets his head on straigt.

I didn't do it. I did, however, pick up Gregg as Florida's closer and Matthews, Jr. to take the place of the horrid Corey Patterson.
