Question: Yahoo tracking starting lineups

I noticed that Yahoo just started tracking teams' starting lineups. Within a half hour of gametime, they'll give you the ^ if the guy is in his team's lineup, and an x if he isn't.
What I want to know is, how accurate have they been? Has anyone noticed? Where are they getting their info? I don't want to bench Ryan Braun tonight just because Yahoo has an x by him, only to find out he was in the lineup after all.

I find them to be very accurate about starters.

I knew about the starting pitchers, but not about who's starting for the postion players. That's pretty cool.

yeah they just started doing offensive positions too, so far there pretty accurate for me.

I just noticed yesterday that they were doing that for offensive players. I like it!

it's as accurate as it can get. They get the starters when the starting lineups are released before the games. If the manager changes the lineup, their hands are kinda tied.
It's not really a "new" thing, though. They always used to start putting "0's" for the stats of players who were in the starting lineups before the games started. Now they've just added the ^. The x is helpful, though, as you know a lineup has been released (didn't always know that before) and that the player is not in it.

It certainly is helpful. The only negative I see is:
Your x player comes in to pinch hit late in a game, or because of an injury, or an extra innings game, etc.
I mean, at the core of fantasy, it's about getting quality for your innings/games (if you have game/innings maximums). Does a starting Austin Kearns really help your team just because Jason Bay isn't in the starting lineup?
Just something to think about.

I tracked Yahoo's performance last night. Of my 3 yahoo fantasy teams, the only player they were wrong about was Randy Winn (they had him starting; he was scratched, but came in late to make a game-saving catch on a would be homer). So I'd say that's a pretty good performance,
