but at least he won't be a Saluki either. He's cut his list down to seven teams: Clemson, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Washington, and Wisconsin. My guess is he goes to Florida.

Aaah well. That would have been awesome had we landed him.
I agree, I can see him going to Florida or maybe Wisconsin due to the coaching fiasco in Florida.

Supposedly his top three choices are Mizzou, Illinois, and Florida. I hope he stays local.
Majerus has already had a pretty good recruiting year. Thompson and Mitchell are two nice signings and he's in pretty hard on Jesse Perry (competing with Lowery for him) and Tyler Griffey (top local recruit for '09). He's already shown he can do what Soderberg could not (would not?) in getting all these nice local prospects. That's what they need to do to be competitive.

Nice to see a coach at Mizzou that might close the borders.
A look at the various MVC rosters over the last couple years should have MU basketball fans grinding their teeth.
Jamaal Tatum & Randall Falker @ SIU
Anthony Tolliver and Dane Watts @ Creighton
Greg Dilligard @ Illinois State
J.J. Tauai @ Bradley
Blake Ahearn @ Missouri State
As far as I can tell the only one of these guys who even got on Pretty Q's radar was Tauai--and that was after he'd verbaled to Bradley.

It'd be a coup if Mike Anderson can get him, and a nice big step in the right direction for the program.

He's also got some inroads with Birminghamian DeMarcus Cousins, who is maybe the top prospect in the country for the '09 class.
But this coming class is huge for his success at Mizzou, considering everything that is graduating at once.

What will they do without Jason Horton and Glen Dandridge?
It feels like Horton has been there for 8 years.
