In a league with high school buddies. Most people draft well enough. I was unlucky enough to get the 12th overall pick, which is tough because you sometimes have to reach a bit, because you don't know what will be there 24 picks later. Please rate my draft.

25 passing yds/point
10 rushing and receiving yds/point
pretty average for K and D.

Cutler will be throwing to Javon Walker.

You should have a monster RB corp with Mauroney and McGahee. I'm picking 12th here in about 10 minutes and won't get any of the good RB's.

I knew I would get one of Maroney/McGahee at 12 and 13. I was trying to decide between Reggie Bush or Steve Smith with the other pick, but when the 10th overall pick chose Peyton, I gladly took both when they fell to me. I'm looking for consistency in addition to solid to good numbers here.

I probably should not have grabbed Lynch because Adrian Peterson ended up making it to the 6th round (WTF?), but I could not know that in advance, and at the least, Lynch is the starter with a lot of (risky) upside.

I actually would have drafted Peterson in the 6th (I had the last pick in the 5th and the first in the 6th - Peterson went 3 picks later), but I was targeting one of two WR there to be my #2, Calvin Johnson or Reggie Brown. Somehow, both fell to me, so I went with it.

Knowing my group of friends, and seeing where I was drafting, I knew I was not going to get a top QB, so I pretty much targeted Cutler, knowing that he was solid, and not on a lot of people's radar.

You could have been like me, and taken Adrian Peterson in the 6th round in lieu of a 2nd WR.

Oh yeah, I was the guy who took him 3 picks later in JC's draft.

I only have one question.

How many freaking running backs do you need? Does your league start 4 RB's?

I think your top two receivers were solid picks (I'm surprised both of them lasted that long), but I would have stocked up a little better on receivers. But then again, I'm prepping for a league that starts 4 receivers and 2 RB's each week.

A good point on the WRs. I'll explain my reasoning...

I wanted 4 solid RB in case of injury or someone just losing a starting job <knocks on wood>.

I grabbed Lynch for my 3rd RB in 4 rounds because behind him on my depth chart were Deuce McAllister (taken 3 picks later), Lamal Lewis, Jerious Norwood, and Marion Barber, all of which were taken again by the time I picked again, along with a few others. I thought Deuce and Lynch were the two best back left, and lynch isn't in a committee as of now <knocks on wood>.

My next picks were Calvin Johnson and Reggie Brown. I too was incredibly shocked when Roy Williams and those two fell to me. I agree that I should have gotten a more quality 4th WR than Hackett, I probably made a bad pick selecting Hackett over Chambers, but I'm not sure about Trent Green down there this year. I was stuck between the two and sort of made a panic pick.

I think that was my one big mistake in the draft, but getting Greg Jennings helps make up for it I think.

I also figure that its easier to find a decent WR on the waiver wire than a quality RB. I have the #1 waiver priority, so we'll se how it all goes.

I'm also thinking of trying to trade Michael Turner to the guy who has LT for Vincent Jackson.
