I'm up by 1. Opponent is done for the week.

I figure I've already won, and its possible to score negative points (argument in favor of sitting McGahee).

There's also always the chance of a scoring change somewhere taking away points that I have (which is why I would lean towards starting McGahee).

What do you all think?

Fumbles are negative points, but hardly enough to negate all the points he should score tonight.

In a gentleman's league, you should start a full roster of players each week. Play the game on the fantasy field the way it's meant to be played.

If victory is assured without starting someone, I liken it to taking a knee at the end of the game... especially considering Rex Grossman's -7 performance last year.

I fall on JC's side in this matter. Why throw up one more pass that could be picked and returned for a touchdown when you can take a knee and end the game right then and there?

I don't think it's like taking a knee. He started all of his roster, and got beat to this point. You should start all of yours, and see if you lose. I would personally call you a coward if you didn't start a RB for the 1% or so chance that he posts a negative score.

I know, I'm just playin'.

I'm not sure if I'm more afraid of a stat correction or a negative day. (or being called a coward ).

P, this sounds exactly like a kneel-down situation. Your opponent has given it their best shot (used all their players), and you have control of the ball (players left to play). Why risk giving up a guaranteed win for the likely possibility of winning by more when there is also the less likely possibility of losing because you run one more play (start the rest of your team).

A coach would probably be fired if they went for more instead of taking a knee, and lost as a result.
