anyone interested in forming a GRB fantasy basketball league?

I haven't done basketball in a few years but thought I'd give it another try this year.

well, that makes 3. I think we need at least 6, a la the hockey league.

8-10 would be preferable.

I'll say I'm interested, but I'd like to know a couple details first.

1) When are you thinking the draft will be? (I have international travel in my future and refuse to be victimized by autodraft... again.)

2) What kind of league setup will you use? (I've done H2H with weekly lineup changes for the past 2 seasons, and IMO it's only so-so.)

Don't mean to sound like a primadona; I just want to know the deal before I agree to commit.

I think we'd set up a live draft as soon as possible once we have enough interest. We'd set it up for one evening around 7:30 to 8 central time.

League would be H2H with daily lineup changes.

Are you planning on doing a 9 start/3 bench setup, or how do you normally play?

And can I vote for a "no games limit", but a cap on the number of moves (add/drops)?

Like I said, I haven't done BBall in a few years, so I'm just getting back in the swing of things. I was just planning on doing the regular/default rosters and scoring cats, but we could do whatever everyone wants to do.

Awesome.

Having turnovers (the most controversial category) as a category adds a dynamic twist to a league. We had that the past 2 years, and it devalues some (really good) players while boosting others values.

Not saying I'm for or against; just throwing it out there.

And with my 1st pick, I'm gonna take Oden. Yep. I'm calling it now. Championship!
