Rob Neyer's NL Central "comments"

From an ESPN chat. I was out of town on business all last week, so that's why there were no "comments". But I'm back all this week and next!

===============
A Cardinals fan asked Neyer's opinion of the Cards potential decision to have Rasmus jump from AA to MLB. This fan wondered if such a move would be beneficial or detrimental.
Neyer said each player is different, but says many prospects have been able to make that leap. He specifically points out Beltran.
--------------------------
(Apparently Neyer must have debated the merits of Fenway vs. Wrigley somewhere.) An upset cubs fan takes issue with Neyer's statement that cub fans are only at home games to party. This fan says with their recent good play (ignore the playoffs), the "passion" level is up.
Rob says the last time he was there was probably 2002. He wonders how much has really changed in 5 years. He also states he wasn't grouping all Wrigley fans; he just thinks the number of "drunken louts" is generally higher at Clark and Addison than at Fenway.
--------------------------
Another cubs fan comes to his compatriots' defense, stating that drunkeness does not always imply ignorance. He also says that the pilgrims from far away lands just want to get drunk. (But where would they get that idea in the 1st place?)
Mr. Neyer cries, "not germane". The question that started the debate was which stadium was a better place to watch a game. Rob thinks hearing "vile obscenities" from your row neighbor all night diminishes the experience, and where the loud-mouth resides is irrelevant.
--------------------------
A Brewers fan wanted to know if the Brewers can win the NL Central.
Neyer said he likes the signing of Mike Cameron and sees no reason why the Brew Crew can't fight for the division title again.
--------------------------
A Reds fan asked Rob his opinion of the Affeldt signing and where Jeremy might provide the most benefit to CIN.
Rob doesn't think Affeldt will excel as a starter, as he has watched Jeremy falter numerous times with the Royals. But, Neyer "has been shocked before".
