Hey gang, it's that time of year again. We're doing our draft, and I think I like my team but need to do a little tweaking.

Standard 12 team H2H league, 5 X 5 categories.

C- V. Martinez
1B- Pujols
2B- Kinsler
3B- Alex Gordon
SS- Guillen, K. Greene
OF- Berkman, Francoeur, Hermida, Bourne
SP- Lincecum, Smoltz, Oswalt, Carmona, Matt Garza, Gorzelanny, Kennedy, Buerhle
RP- Chad Cordero, Soria, BJ Ryan

Obviously, I picked up quite a bit of pitching. I didn't see a MI I loved late, so I just took players I liked better, and figured I could sort it out after the draft. Obviously I want to upgrade my depth on offense.

Notable players available:

Frank Thomas, Mike Cameron, Sexson, Ankiel, Kotchman, Teahan, Guillen, Mark Reynolds, Andre Ethier.

Should I drop Buerhle and Kennedy for Mark Reynolds and Ankiel? I like having lots of pitchers that are actually good, but I'm not totally sold on either Ian Kennedy or Buerhle. I do think they'll both get a lot of wins for me though.

What about a Ty Wigginton that can play 2B, 3B, 1B?

Is it H2H with daily lineup changes or weekly? I have found that in daily leagues it is more important to have top notch pitching because most top players play everyday so your Bench players will rarely get off your bench. Also keep in mind that Kennedy might be the Yanks #5 starter and therefore wont have many starts in the first month of the season because of days off. That means if you need to he is possibily a good player to drop and keep your eye on to pick up again after the first few weeks or so. Also, having a player like Wigginton who can backup a bunch of positions is ideal for a team that is primarily going to use its bench for pitching.

Wigginton was claimed off waivers, and I wasn't using my 6 spot for him.

I ended up dropping Kennedy for Ankiel. He gives me another power bat to use, and I can platoon him against lefties.

3B is still a place I'm worried about, but I have a few offers out there for one right now. Casey Blake and Mark Reynolds are the two best ones available, but I'm not sure either is a big enough upgrade over Gordon to drop any pitching for.

Anyone else have any thoughts? I'm not in the GRB league, so your advice won't be used against you
