St. Louis and Quad Cities were the only teams not to lose on this night. Of course, they didn't play either.

The Memphis Redbirds lost to the Iowa Cubs 6-2.
  • Batting Highlights:
    • Nick Stavinoha was 1 for 4 with a home run.
    • Donovan Solano was 1 for 3.
    • P.J. Walters was 1 for 2, but that's about the only highlight for him.
    Pitching Highlights:
    • Walters allowed six runs on five hits and two walks in six and a third.
    • Charlie Manning allowed two inherited runners to score in the 7th.
    • Josh Kinney pitched a perfect inning.

The Springfield Cardinals lost to the Arkansas Travelers 7-1.
  • Batting Highlights:
    • Brett Wallace was 3 for 4. On an otherwise bad night for lines, three singles is as good as it gets.
    • Mark Hamilton walked twice.
    • Tony Cruz was 1 for 4 with an RBI.
    Pitching Highlights:
    • Brandon Dickson gave up three runs (two earned) in four innings.
Every other reliever allowed at least a run in their inning of work except for Eddie Degerman who pitched a perfect 8th.

The Palm Beach Cardinals lost to the St. Lucie Mets 3-0, despite outhitting them 8-4.
  • Batting Highlights:
    • Tommy Pham was 1 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base.
    • Nick Derba was 1 for 3 and walked.
    • Domnit Bolivar was 1 for 4 with a double.
    Pitching Highlights:
    • Richard Castillo allowed three runs (two earned) in four innings. He did strike out six.
    • Blake King pitched three scoreless innings with four strikeouts.
    • Chuckie Fick pitched two perfect innings and notched a strikeout.
