I fear that Tyler Greene was sent down for the same reason Wallace won't be brought up. It's always been Tony's position that no one should be brought up to the majors to develop. Tyler definitely isn't a finished product yet, and neither is Wallace...but I guess providing an upgrade over the current situation is irrelevant.

Until the Khalil situation is resolved (unfortunately, probably this offseason) I am pretty happy with Ryan getting most of the time at SS.

I think we're suffering from a case of Tyle Greene being the skinniest girl at fat camp, because this is a player with an OBP under .300, one stinking walk on the year, and a high K percentage.

He brings a little speed, and can walk into the occasional HR, but he needs to tighten his K rate immensely to be any better than Brendan Ryan. We are stuck with Khalil, so having Greene and Ryan is a little redundant if he isn't going to be playing every day and producing.

If it were up to me, we'd pull a Detroit Tigers and put Khalil on the DL for his anxiety after Tyler has been gone a week and bring him back up.

Did you really want to use the term "happy" there? This is like being happy that you have the clap rather than HIV.

You are right on...but that skinniest girl still looks pretty hot standing next to 4 Berthas.

At this point, the slightly chunky and less curvy Aaron Miles would be a welcome sight.

I distinctly remember describing Tyler Greene as a "poor man's Khalil Greene" a few years ago... So, now is Khalil Greene a poor man's Tyle Greene?

I'd say he's a rich man's Tyler Greene, but I don't want thrill to get too excited about him.
