The Memphis Redbirds defeated the Iowa Cubs 6-2.
  • Batting Highlights:
    • Brett Wallace was 3 for 4 with a homer and two RBI.
    • Tyler Greene was 2 for 5 with a homer and three RBI.
    • Jon Jay was 2 for 4 with a stolen base and a run scored.
    Pitching Highlights:
    • Mitchell Boggs allowed a run on nine hits and two walks in six innings.
    • Charlie Manning gave up a run in two innings of work.
    • Jess Todd came in to get two outs and the save.
