At this point, I dont want to see Lohse near the Big club till he finds his velocity. Topping out @ 91mph, but averaging 86-88mph aint gonna cut it here. I dont want to hear things like, 'he couldve used 1 more rehab start'... By the time he comes back, he shouldnt have questions about anything, nor still be working on things.

OTOH, If Robertson can put up another start like his last one, i say he beats Lohse here.

That's pretty much what he's always thrown and at least within the margin of error for a gun. He always sat around 88-90.

2mph can make a world of difference, if your stuff is mediocure. it could be the difference between a line-drive and a groundball...

It can also be the difference in the way guns are calibrated, or variance between starts. That's all I'm saying. The Fox gun at Busch is dialed up a few notches this year... unless Westbrook suddenly learned how to throw 93 and Boggs 100. So, when Boggs goes on the road and he's only throwing 95-97, it's not because his stuff is any different. 88 at one park can be 90 at another. Or 86. Point is that his velocity is near his normal range, and that doesn't seem to be the concern for him or the club.

understandable. but he needs to locate if he plans on throwing league average fastballs.
