I think my head is going to explode with this week of FA / trades coinciding with the MLB trade deadline. Holy cow.

With the new CBA and his dive down the big board between the end of his junior year and the end of his senior year, how much did Jake Locker cost himself by staying in school another year?

Seahawks signed Tavaris Jackson and Matt Leinart to fight with Clipboard Jesus for QB.
Yikes.

Yikes.
Hasselbeck isn't coming back, and assuming the Cardinals solve their QB problem, the Seahawks might be the worst team in the NFC West.

The first piece of good news for the 2011 NFL season for me...Ike Taylor is staying in Pittsburgh.

McNabb to Vikes. NFC North is going to be brutal this year.

I don't see McNabb helping the Vikes much this year. Their window has closed, short as it may have been.

And LOL at the Seahags. Nice move. San Fran (my team) and St. Louis (y'alls team) should be 1-2 (in some order) for a few years.

Bad news for me is that Alex Smith is back (again). Guh.

I don't know if it's a TERRIBLE move for the Seahawks. (Okay...it is from a winning standpoint) There's no quarterback out there that makes Seattle a Super Bowl contender right now. Jackson at least knows the offensive playbook. It's a two year deal, so they can draft someone in the first round next year and let that person sit for a year while they continue to try and get better elsewhere.

Luckily it's only a one year deal. I really think it's just because they want the new guy to sit for a year with the absence of OTAs and camp.
