2011 NFL season
I was looking at the schedule today and getting pumped up. I absolutely love how the NFL treats ESPN like its biatch. Just look at the national games this year for Sunday night on NBC vs. the Monday night game on ESPN to know what I'm talking about. Oh, and NBC can flex and ESPN pays well over $1B dollars vs. $600mil for NBC. NBC gets to show highlights first and gets playoff games too.

I'm intrigued to see if the Eagles are really "The Dream Team." It's been awhile since a team has grabbed a moniker comparable to "The Greatest Show on Turf."

Peyton is almost definitely out of the season opener. Rumor is he needs or has had a second surgery.

Re: 2011 NFL season
I think that "Dream Team" title for the Eagles is a load of crap. The Rams earned the title "Greatest Show on Turf". The Eagles haven't won anything yet and probably aren't even the best team in their conference.AdmiralKird wrote:I'm intrigued to see if the Eagles are really "The Dream Team." So......... help me with my annual bet here at work.
4 of us are allowed to pick one team for the season. Whichever team finished with the best record for the regular season is the money-winner.
Right now, I'm leaning toward Green Bay.

If it were me, I'd go with Pittsburgh. Lighter schedule.Socnorb11 wrote:So......... help me with my annual bet here at work.
