I'm a fan, but don't see it discussed here, and assume there's no interest. Am I wrong?

I do not. My brother loves it though. He tries to get to two races a year when he's not deployed. Nothing against it, just isn't my thing.

I don't think I've watched a NASCAR event since Keith Jackson , Chris Economaki, et al used to work events for ABC's Wide World of Sports.

As much as it pains me to say this, NASCAR is a sport, and thus I will be moving this to "Other Sports."

Watch most of the races every year. Tony Stewart is my favorite driver.

I find racing to be the most boring televised sport. I would rather watch an hour of some odd European sport with arcane rules I know nothing of than watch cars go around and around. Heck, I'd rather watch a bowling match. Do they televise old lady bingo championships? I'd probably watch that with more interest. I guess F1 racing is vaguely more interesting because of the pretty cities and meandering, meaning I could watch a race for maybe 2 minutes before I would rather just watch commercials on another channel.

That's why I put it in Social, was to draw you out and make you admit it's a sport.

I was a big fan in the 80's, and went to a few races. I still enjoy it, but I don't watch every lap.

They should add oil slicks and smoke screens to make it more of a sport and more exciting to watch.
