I went to my 1st game yesterday, nothing like 80 degrees in Northern IL in mid March. The worst game I ever went to was around this time in Galesburg, IL when it was 25 and snowing.

It's always good to see a 3rd rounder (depending on signability) on your 1st day while wearing a short-sleeve shirt.

Man that's a beautiful place to play HS ball. Was back in my day and it looks just as nice today. Did they shorten it up in CF? Something looks different - the bushes are gone for one thing. That was a poke out there ... 415 I think when I played. Not a big fan of the ... what is that astroturf around the edges? Why did they do that?

yes it is turf.....it keeps the water from accumulating in the home plate area...it is still 415 i believe
