79-80 was the last time they were preseason #1. 92-93 was the last time they were #1 at any point. So either way was under Bobby Knight since he left in 2000.

I used to really get into NCAA hoops, but just haven't been very interested the past 5-7 years. I am going to make a concerted effort to follow it more closely this year.

The Catholic schools in the Big East are leaving to form their own non football conference. I hope SLU, Dayton, DePaul etc join.

It could be like a Super-CYO. You would get a technical foul if you didn't make the sign of the cross before shooting your free throws.

And I have yet to catch a game. I keep forgetting and finally had to re-download the espn app that sends reminders before game item. Going to try and find an Internet feed for the Butler game Saturday.
