I'm the commish for my work league and someone has Motte, Adam Eaton, and Freese on his team. He's wondering when the team's will put them on the DL so he can pick up other guys. Right now he'd have to drop them in order to pick up new guys. Anyone know? Or also is there anything I can do to help from a commish perspective?

not much to be done about it. It comes down to when the teams will finally make those roster moves. Some do it early, some wait until opening day. The Yankees already put Pineda on, we already have Carp on, but others like Luebke and Beachy who are known to be out until June/July recovering from surgery are not on yet.

Thanks, clever! I guess it depends if you need the spot or not.

and, just like that, Beachy goes on the DL today. It's pretty frustrating when you see who you want to pick up and you just have to wait and hope nobody grabs them before your guy finally gets put on the DL.
