I went to visit my uncle in Seattle today and discovered that a local restaurant had been renamed the Spirit of St. Louis and had St. Louis themed decorations in it.





I had breakfast and the food was good.

Don't try the pizza.

There is so much odd about this, Mary. Is their menu basically just toasted ravioli, mostaccioli, cracker pizza and gooey buttercake?

I've heard of St. Louis-style Italian restaurants in other places, such as Lawrence, Kansas, but that restaurant (Intorno) ended tragically.

Maybe their specialty is a grilled St. Paul sandwich with provel cheese in a Vess Whistle soda reduction.

In honor of Lindbergh, one entree should be the America First, which would be plane-shaped toasted ravioli served lovingly on a bed of sauerkraut.

Where did you get this information? I just looked at the breakfast menu. Or are you talking about the pizza place?

LOL. I remember reading an article about what if Hitler had won World War II that had Lindbergh becoming President of the United States.
