Indy 500

Post by jim »

Hunter-Reay wins a very exciting race. I was pulling for him big time. Helio Castronevas just has too much in his life. That girlfriend they kept showing just put it over the top. Nobody should be that blessed.

Once they started talking about soccer it pretty much opened this thing up to anything.

I really wish I were into it. It's hard to get into it when the race is blacked out here.

It used to be I know. It used to be blacked out here in Terre Haute too, but the last couple years it's been live on tv.

I don't disagree. My dad was furious at the end of the race.

I love the 500. I was pulling for Andretti, as he's seemed to be at some kind of tipping point for the last two-three years and just can't break through to the top. With Hunter-Reay having a faster car and Castroneves in front of him, it was pretty easy to see it was down to those two as soon as Carpenter got taken out.

My wife & I actually watched the 500 (one the the first times for me) & I was a little put off by them showing the wives/girlfriends as one of the main features of the finish.
