Over the last couple of months 3 major pieces of the technology team here have left. Today, two more announced they are leaving. People we can't replace easily. We lose them and the management that frustrated them in the first place stays.
I am very pissed. That is all.

Are they going to the same place afterwards or just leaving en masse?

These two are leaving to go work with an old colleague that just got a big government grant. The other three to different places.JackofDiamonds wrote:Are they going to the same place afterwards or just leaving en masse?
We are in the transition phase from startup to going concern. In Internet of things. Lots of customer interest slowly gaining momentum. Terrible time to lose people and I don't understand why the corporate parent, who claims to be in this for the long haul, is letting people like this leave. Time to freshen up the resume I guess.

Never a bad idea. A tough time to lose people, though that specific transition phase traditionally has a high turnover. We spend a lot of time talking about the Internet of Things here, I think it's fascinating. My buddy is transitioning into a consulting role out of telecomm into the space.Joe Shlabotnik wrote:These two are leaving to go work with an old colleague that just got a big government grant.
