Brandon Moss 2016
I think I'm higher than most on Mr. Moss for next season and I'm pleased Mo intimated that he will be tendered. Looking at his career over the last 4 seasons, he was putting up a good offensive trajectory until his hip injury mid-season 2014.
In 2012 he hit .291/.358/.596 with 21 HR's in 265 AB's. He followed that up with a .256/.337/.522 with 30 HR's also in Oakland (not a hitter's park). 2014 he was an All-Star with 21 HR's and an .878 OPS at the break. After the break (and the labrum issue) he OPS'ed .584 with 4 HR's. Had surgery after 2014 and recovered somewhat last season (well you know how he did last year).
I gotta believe a full offseason of rest and rehab should offer a much better shot of a full (or close to) recovery for the 32 year 1B-OFer. I realized most of you know his numbers, it just seems he's kinda lumped in with being a Mark Reynolds clone. I think he could be a lot more than that. I hope he gets a shot.

If I have to choose between giving playing time to Moss or Adams next year then I would go with Moss.

I think he'll end up being our best shot - and we might get the walk year effect from him.

He was given a dose of pixie dust and then nuthin. then a second dose and then something. but it didn't hold.
He is a liability in the OF. And not much of a first baseman either. Player in decline.

I think it depends on health - like many players. I will say that Brandon Moss has quickly become one of my favorite players. He's a real pro, great work ethic, and a cerebral player. I didn't know much about him before he came to us, and I've just really impressed with him. Now, if he could [expletive] hit!

I think he's a good trade piece to Baltimore or Seattle. But that's only if they find an upgrade for first. Not liking him as a bench guy.

Re: Brandon Moss 2016
I'd rather see them make a move for first base and either trade/nontender Moss; or at the most use him off the bench. He would be useful if he can figure out how to be a pinch hitter late in the game.
