Hey dickhead, you're not the only one on the road.

Re: Intersection blockers
The frequency with which this happens in DC is absolutely mind-boggling. And it's not a case of "Oops, I thought I could get through the intersection in traffic before the light changed and then accidentally got stuck in the intersection"- a frustrating but at least mildly understandable phenomenon. No, here, people willfully do this [expletive].

And if you try to be polite and not enter the intersection for fear of blocking it, the dickhead behind you will honk at you!!

Re: Intersection blockers
I don't even know what you are talking about. Are you blaming people for going forward when it's green to make a left, and then not being able to go because the oncoming traffic blows through the yellow and even red preventing you from finishing your turn, which makes the other direction wait 2 ... maybe 3 whole seconds before they can proceed?
That's my fault?

Re: Intersection blockers
I'm picturing it as stop-and-go traffic going through a light. You proceed while the light is green, but traffic moves so slow that you can't move any further than the intersection by the time the light turns red. Leaving you blocking the intersection. So then people trying to turn in to your lane can't even move their car out into the intersection, because you're blocking it.

Re: Intersection blockers
Ok, I guess that makes some sense. That rarely happens where I travel, unless there is an accident or major construction or whatever. My daily commute isn't that congested. If it were, I would kill someone. I don't know how people deal with congested roads day in and day out.JL21 wrote:I'm picturing it as stop-and-go traffic going through a light.
