Jason Heyward (wrist) is out of the Cubs' starting lineup again on Thursday.
Heyward is still dealing with discomfort in his right wrist and hasn't played since Sunday, when he went 0-for-5 against the Braves. Kris Bryant is in right field and Tommy La Stella is at third base Thursday in the Cubs' big series opener against the Nationals.
