Today, Phil Steele's 2016 College Football Preview hit newsstands.

Steele is bullish on Mizzou. Likes their defense and has them fourth in the East.

They just have to muster some sort of O, or the D will be worn down like they were last year. They have potential to pull of an upset or two - back to a bowl game.

I haven't given it much thought, but 4th in the East seems like the right spot for Mizzou. Being better than UK, SC, and Vandy isn't all that high a bar, and they probably have the best individual unit of those 4 to hang their hats on with the defense. @LSU and v. Arkansas isn't a great draw from the West though.

Miss State draws UK and SC from the East. Meanwhile my Hogs get Mizzou and UF. Not sure when we last played Vandy. The kid from Bachelorette or Cutler was QBing I think.

i think i read somewhere that he had to pay more to leave Mizzou than he earned while at Mizzou

Mizzou's interim AD is now taking the AD job at North Texas. Hooboy.

So the Big 12 wants to expand in time for the 2017 season. I bet it will be Houston and Cincy.
