Rant: The disgusting proletariat in Economy Class

On a recent 10 hour flight I got bumped up to first class (and I thought when she scanned my ticket and it said 'TICKETING ISSUE' I was going to get some invasive security screening), sleeping full supine and eating carapes while drinking lots of free-flowing wine and sharing a bathroom with 6 people and not 80. Then being the first in a very long line for customs and immigration. It was from this perspective that I realized how gross the people behind that curtain are. With their knees up in their face and their 1.5 inches of recline and zero hot towel deliveries (compared to my 5) and disposable linens. I just wanted to walk by them all so they could openly acknowledge my greatness.

It's heavenly up there. Just heavenly.

I have twice flown overseas in 1st class. It's pretty sweet, way better than not.

Had a nice argument with wife about whether we should spend an extra couple thousand on first class tix. I said 'sure, then we can just turn around and fly back instead of spend the vacation in Ireland.' She needs a rich boyfriend.
