Would like to submit a petition to stop the use of "shove down our throats" as a metaphor for "experiencing something I personally don't like"
Whether it's legislation passed by democratically elected officials or the reddit complaint I saw that Netflix is "shoving episode spoilers down our throats"

What percentage of the uses of this phrase are associated with legislation protecting GLBT rights? 90%?
