11K in his last outing and he's had 11 straight quality starts. He has a higher K/BB ratio on the season than in his CYA year and is very quietly making a case for a 2nd or 3rd place vote for that award this year. Those last 11 games have been:

I panicked when I saw the author of this thread.

The big star pitchers of his era - Zack Greinke, Clayton Kershaw, Max Scherzer - all kind of went out with a wimper instead of a lot of fan fare. Maybe not Kershaw, but the rest of them just kind of fizzled out. I know Scherzer and Verlander are still pitching, but their ERAs are not pretty right now.
