The end of this week was building up to be hellish with little chance of meeting all my deadlines.

Rave: I got 2 deadline extensions without even asking. Someone completing a draft of a report for me won't be done, so I can't very well review it, can I? Then another memo I needed to get done doesn't need to be done by tomorrow after all.

Now I'll probably just procrastinate and waste my new-found time to get something done while not under a ton of deadline stress.

Just got a third extension. Might as well take the afternoon off and start drinking.

Deadline extensions are definitely the best, but in college it would annoy me when the professor would give them out at the beginning of the class it was due. Usually because i had put the hard work in and figured out whatever complications arose myself only for all the slackers to have been given a second chance
