Hmm. I like Thomas, but I'd like to see another season like last year's and a bit stronger playoff performance before going $8MM AAV for that long.

I suppose it also depends on how much the cap is going up in future seasons. At least the metrics are kinder to Thomas than they are to Parayko.

hope he's that guy from here on out with a cap that ain't gonna go up by much for a long time, as we're gonna have to get rid of some good guys to get that number to fit in future seasons.

He was terrible for a terrible DET team last year but has been pretty damn good in the past.

Would have rather had Cole by himself over leddy with the 1 year 3 mil. And may have found a creative way possibly to keep Perron as it was only a 1 year deal.
