That ball had hair on it: (Exact meaning unclear) but usually a hot grounder

Unhitch his ice wagon: which means he can't run fast.
Corker: A hard hit ball.
Daisy Cutter, Skimmer: A low pitched ball, hit sharply along the surface of the ground, through the grass, without rebounding to any extent.
Banjo hitter: A hitter who notches a lot of bloop hits without hard contact.
Rhubarb: A fight or scuffle.
Muckle: Power Hitter
Cranks, Bugs, Rooters: Fans
Dew Drop: High Arching Pitch
Jumjam: Wild Pitch
Just a few. Please add your favorites.

Good question. I do remember, that while mired in a slump, Jason Giambi used to wear a golden thong under his uniform. Maybe it helped his hip-rotation..
