Possible good news for those not wanting this guy in return: Rotowire: Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Sunday that Cijntje will be used as a right-handed starting pitcher during spring training, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports. (2/2/2026)

hope it's not for Cijntje like reports were awhile ago
