Walker's K percentage is down below 26. Best I have seen it this season; he was at 30+ earlier in the season when he went into that slump.

St. Louis and Milwaukee square off in Game 2 of a three game series.
St. Louis is 29-23 overall and 16-10 on the road. Cardinals hitters are batting a collective .239, which ranks 10th in the NL.
Milwaukee has a 17-11 record at home and a 31-20 record overall. Brewers pitchers have a collective 3.27 ERA, which ranks third in the NL.

The Brewers turned their walk year closer into Harrison. The Cardinals turned theirs into Jesus Baez.

Pretty sure the Brewers traded Caleb Durbin and some other minor leaguers for Harrison. Durbin was 3rd in ROY last year. They gave up value to get value.

Yes, they got Durbin for Williams. This is why you trade for major leaguers and not A ball guys. Major leaguers have value.

Out of all the trades the Cardinals have made since their 2023 collapse, no player is currently helping the big league team.
Svanson was a momentary hit and the Red Sox and Donovan deals are TBD. But it’s been pretty bad.
