A battle of the 27th men as Gasser and Dobbins were both called up by their respective clubs as the extra arm for the double header.
In Game 1, Milwaukee starter Misiorowski went 7 innings and the relievers used were Ashby - 18 pitches 1 inning; and Uribe - 19 pitches 1 inning.
Utilizing a bullpen start, the Cardinals used Svanson - 14 pitches 1 inning; Zimmerman - 72 pitches 5 innings; Stanek for 6 pitches and now DTD with ankle injury; Romero - 16 pitches 1 inning and Bruihl 30 pitches 2 innings.

Bet the cards wish they would’ve listened to me when I said they should’ve scheduled the makeup/doubleheader back in May the next day after the rainout. Now you’re stuck with 5 games again last MIL and have already lost the 1st 2.
