The Cardinals announced that today would be a bullpen game with no one as yet designated as the opener.
Mathews is starting Friday; he has been good for about 4-5 innings in his starts so far. And Leahy goes Saturday and I presume he will still be on a pitch limit. So there should be some kind of transactions to replenish the pen but who knows with the way the last week has been going.

Great. Facing another sweep. Fun season but man hate to see it going in this direction.

Oli said this is a bullpen game….which is weird that this would be any different, since like the last week have been bullpen games based in IP

I've got too much going on this afternoon to be able to pay much attention to this fiasco but I hope we don't get swept.
