Interesting. I thought they might bring up Hjerpe with the expanded roster.

If he doesn't do well, he can follow the breadcrumbs back to Memphis.

It's long been my contention that if the Cardinals aren't going to be good for a few years, they should become the all-weird-names team.

He's a changeup specialist. Has a nice, athletic delivery. You watch him once and say eh, and then you watch him for a month and you see it. He's a guy who is consistent and has plus command.
Most likely he's a middle reliever, probably an up-and-down type on a contender. Will give up some loud contact when he hangs the changeup. Fastball has taken a jump with a move to the bullpen.
