Well it's settled then. There are no other options besides wasting Wainwright and 6.30 ERA Izzy. Russ Springer is old and has had Mariano Rivera's ERA+ since coming to the Cardinals. Not an option. Putting Wainwright in rotation would "be a luxury" they can't afford right now. Good grief.
